This role will be responsible for the operational planning, coordination, and execution of all event logistics across a portfolio of internal and external corporate events, including our flagship Pure//Accelerate conference. Success in this role depends on strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire cross-functional teams, convert strategic event goals into compelling attendee experiences, and ensure seamless operational delivery. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, have a passion for delivering exceptional attendee experiences, and can seamlessly juggle multiple stakeholders, this is the opportunity for you!

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...

  • Lead comprehensive event operations from planning through execution.
  • Contribute to the identification of program goals, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Lead venue search, sourcing, negotiations, and contracting for future corporate events.
  • Develop and manage operational budgets, including forecasting, financial reconciliation, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Create scalable operational processes and best practices for event delivery.

  • Drive a comprehensive project timeline, ensuring effective communication and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Design and implement risk management and contingency plans.
  • Contribute to post-event analysis through a structured debrief process.
  • Create and manage comprehensive event materials, including overviews, staffing schedules, on-site resources, and training resources.

What You’ll Need To Bring To This Role...

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in corporate events management, with proven success managing large international programs (2,000 plus attendees) and complex logistics.
  • In-House Expertise: Prior experience working in an in-house event management model with minimal reliance on third-party event management companies.
  • Event Technology: Proficiency with event tech platforms such as Cvent, Zoom, Salesforce, Marketo, and mobile event apps. Experience with Google Workspace and Asana is essential.
  • Budget Mastery: Demonstrated ability to develop and reconcile large event budgets.
  • Stakeholder Management: Skilled at balancing the needs of internal stakeholders, customers, and partners while meeting tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 20% and adapt to working non-traditional hours, including weekends, as needed.
  • Certifications: University/College degree in event management, hospitality, marketing, business, or a related field preferred. CMP (Certified Meeting Professional) or Program Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
  • We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the either the Bellevue or Raleigh (RTP) office locations in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
