Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Corporate Counsel to support Worldwide Operations and Robotics. You will advise on product development, software licensing, and IP matters, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements across technology initiatives.

You will partner with engineering teams to draft and negotiate complex agreements, assess risk, and provide practical legal guidance that enables business objectives while protecting Amazon's interests.

Qualifications

Juris Doctor and bar admission in one state (or equivalent)
5+ years of post-bar legal experience
Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent

Responsibilities

Partner with engineering and technology teams to provide legal guidance on product development and robotics initiatives
Draft, structure, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including technology, supply chain, licensing, and deployment contracts
Assess and advise on legal, reputational, and compliance risks related to technical architecture and program design
Provide strategic counsel on intellectual property matters and software licensing
Develop and implement practical solutions to support business objectives while ensuring legal compliance
