Job summary

Altera is seeking a practical and collaborative Corporate Counsel to join its Corporate Legal team in San Jose, CA. You will support governance, securities disclosures, equity programs, talent matters, investor relations, and strategic corporate matters to enable business growth.

As a partner to senior leadership, you will manage SEC filings, governance materials, compensation matters, and cross-functional workflows with Finance, IR, and Communications. In-office presence in San Jose is required.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school required.
• 5+ years of relevant corporate legal experience at a leading firm or in-house.
• Strong foundation in corporate governance, securities, and executive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Support Board and stockholder meetings, governance documents and related records.
• Lead or assist with SEC filings, disclosures, and Section 16 filings.
• Provide broad legal support to Finance on reporting and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with Finance, IR and Communications on earnings releases and external communications.
• Support equity and executive-compensation matters including plan documents and awards.
