Job summary

Acquisition.com is seeking a hands-on Corporate Counsel to serve as the day-to-day legal resource and a force multiplier for the General Counsel. You will guide the paralegal and legal operations specialist to keep intake and contracts moving, escalating to the GC when necessary, in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.

This remote role supports US operations with occasional travel to Las Vegas for in-person matters, requiring a J.D.

Qualifications

• J.D. and active bar membership in good standing.
• 3+ years of relevant experience, including in-house at a high-growth company.
• Hands-on experience with FTC Act Section 5 and advertising compliance; GDPR, CCPA, and TCPA preferred.
• Experience running and improving legal operations: intake workflows, contract lifecycle management, matter tracking, or legal technology.
• Experience directing paralegal or legal operations staff.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, reviews, and negotiates agreements across the business (vendor contracts, MSAs, NDAs, SOWs, sponsorship and partnership agreements, event/venue contracts).
• Manages a mixed docket across entities/business units with constant re-prioritization.
• Owns day-to-day privacy, data protection, and information security questions; escalates to GC as needed.
• Supports GC on investment documents, diligence, and litigation matters.
