Job Responsibilities

1. Provide legal support on mass tort litigation matters, including asbestos cases.
2. Draft, review, and monitor pleadings, briefs, and discovery documents.
3. Collaborate with paralegals, witnesses, and external counsel to develop cases for trial.
4. Advise business units on litigation risks and provide training on legal issues.
5. Coordinate with insurers and risk management to establish coverage and case reserves.
6. Lead and work with outside counsel on case strategy and management.
7. Maintain strong relationships with external legal teams and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
• Active membership in at least one U.S. state bar and qualified for in-house counsel admission.
• Minimum 8 years of litigation experience, including complex and high exposure cases, especially asbestos litigation.
• Proven success as a litigator with familiarity in eDiscovery issues.
