Job summary

Medpace, headquartered in Cincinnati, seeks an on-site corporate attorney to serve as in-house counsel for its domestic and international subsidiaries. The role covers commercial transactions, governance, privacy, employment matters, and regulatory monitoring, with cross-functional collaboration across the organization.

The candidate will handle contract review, drafting, and negotiation, ensure compliance, and advise management on policies and bylaws.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Bar Admission: Licensed in Ohio or eligible to become licensed.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience at a law firm or in-house, or a combination of both.
• Strong background in contracts, corporate law, compliance, governance, collections, and general litigation.
• Excellent negotiation, drafting, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex legal concepts in clear, business-friendly terms.
• Self-starter who takes the initiative and is comfortable interacting cross-functionally as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Commercial Transactions: Review, draft, and negotiate domestic and foreign agreements, including and commercial and vendor agreements, and SaaS / technology licenses. Manage third-party contracting process and workflows.
