Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its Legal team and help shape the future of global commerce.

You will lead the drafting and negotiation of customer-facing commercial agreements supporting Global Payments Genius Point of Sale business across North America, partnering with business leaders and internal stakeholders to provide practical legal guidance on contracts and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. required with active bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• 3–6 years of relevant legal experience, ideally in both law firm and in-house settings.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating customer-facing commercial agreements.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and explain complex legal concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead drafting and negotiation of customer-facing commercial agreements across North America.
• Provide practical legal guidance on contracts, regulatory matters, and pre-litigation disputes.
• Identify legal and business risks and develop solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Manage negotiations involving master service agreements, NDAs, and related contracts.
• Support initiatives to improve efficiency and scalability of the legal function.
