Qualifications
- 5+ years relevant experience and a Juris doctorate degree OR Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience drafting and negotiating highly complex multinational agreements.
- Strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills; ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized legal advice and support to enable business strategy while identifying and managing legal risk.
- Ensure awareness of and advise on compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Draft and negotiate complex multinational agreements with PayPal's merchants, marketplaces, and partners.
- Coordinate cross-functionally to craft deal strategies and provide innovative legal guidance.
- Research and analyze new laws and regulatory guidance affecting global operations.
