Job summary

AssetMark Financial Holdings is seeking a Vice President, Corporate Counsel to join a collaborative legal team. This hands-on role serves as trusted advisor to leaders, handling commercial contracts, client agreements, strategic initiatives, and other corporate matters.

Hybrid work accommodation near Concord, CA or Charlotte, NC; requires a JD and active US bar with at least five years of experience in financial services or a regulated industry; visa sponsorship not offered.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree and US bar admission.
• At least five years of relevant legal experience.
• Experience in financial services or regulated industries preferred.
• Strong judgment, communication, and business acumen.
• Ability to advise across multi-state employment-law issues.

Responsibilities

• Review and negotiate data license and enterprise technology agreements.
• Advise People and Culture on employment matters across multi-state contexts.
• Provide guidance to paralegals and develop legal processes and templates.
• Policy review.
• Other duties as assigned.
