Qualifications

• J.D. and active U.S. bar membership or ability to practice as in-house counsel.
• Approximately 4+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Meaningful, hands-on experience with U.S. customs laws and regulations.
• Law firm, government, and/or in-house experience.
• Experience with CBP, tariffs and duties, duty drawback, tariff classification, customs valuation, FTZs, FTAs, rules of origin, or similar customs matters.
• Manufacturing, industrial, automotive, or global supply-chain experience is a plus.

This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with substantive U.S. customs experience who wants to work directly with business leaders while handling complex, evolving trade issues.

This is not a back-office compliance role. The attorney will have significant responsibility for U.S. customs matters, with some Canadian coverage, and will serve as a practical advisor on issues affecting global supply chains and business operations.
