What you’ll do

• Provide legal and strategic advice on commercial matters, including procurement decisions.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and support contracts related to construction, real estate, procurement, manufacturing, and logistics.
• Develop documentation, templates, and processes for the Purchasing and Supply Chain teams.
• Build strong relationships with Production, Construction, and Purchasing teams.
• Collaborate with Legal colleagues on projects and work with outside counsel as needed.

Location & Travel Expectations

• Based in Tyson, VA; Novi, MI; or Columbia, SC.
• Regular in-person meetings and travel are required.

What you’ll bring

• J.D. from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. state.
• 6-12 years of legal experience, preferably in-house and within the automotive industry.
• Experience with complex commercial agreements, supplier, manufacturing, construction, and real estate agreements.
• Attention to detail, collaborative spirit, and ability to work across departments.

Pay Range

Base salary: $150,000 - $180,000, with eligibility for an annual performance bonus.
