Job summary

ZealoTech People, based in Irvine, CA, seeks an experienced Senior Legal Counsel to lead complex commercial contracting and regulatory matters. The role requires hands-on management of contract intake through execution and close collaboration with product, security, and finance teams.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of relevant legal experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and comfort advising in a technology-driven, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience.
• Experience managing contracts and legal matters from intake through execution.
• Experience supporting a technology or regulated business environment.
• Strong cross-functional legal counseling and business judgment.
• Exposure to privacy, data security, compliance, regulatory, and technology matters.
• Hands-on, responsive, and comfortable working under a direct, high-expectation General Counsel.
• Must commit to 5 days in office in Irvine, CA.
• Software: Legal Contract Management Software, CLM Systems, Legal Operations Tools, AI-assisted contract review tools, automation/workflow tools.
