Job summary

GA Telesis in South Florida is seeking an experienced Corporate Counsel to negotiate and draft complex contracts across aviation and aerospace sectors. The role requires strong drafting and writing skills, attention to detail, and a business-minded approach to risk and opportunity.

You will collaborate with management, sales teams, and outside counsel to close high-stakes transactions. Applicants should have at least five years of relevant experience, including time at an AmLaw 200 firm, and

Qualifications

• At least five (5) years’ experience negotiating and drafting contracts at an AmLaw 200 firm.
• Excellent writing and contract drafting skills with strong attention to detail.
• JD, licensed and in good standing in Florida or eligible to become Authorized House Counsel in Florida.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate and draft a wide range of complex contracts
• Interact extensively with Company management, salespeople, and other employees at all levels, as well as with customers, suppliers, government officials, and outside counsel

Requirements

• At least five (5) years’ experience (including at least two (2) years at an AmLaw 200 law firm) negotiating and drafting contracts and successfully closing transactions involving risk allocation, including warranties, indemnities, risk of loss, insurance, limitation of liability, etc.
• Excellent writing and contract drafting skills, with strong attention to detail
• A positive business-oriented problem solver attitude
• Ability to function successfully in a diverse, fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Collaborative team player
• JD, licensed and in good standing in Florida or another state, or otherwise qualified to become an Authorized House Counsel in Florida
