Larson Maddox seeks an experienced Legal Counsel to support its growing commercial business across North and South America. You will partner with commercial, operations, logistics, and finance teams to provide practical legal guidance on strategic initiatives and day-to-day matters.

Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, advising on regulatory and risk matters, and supporting expansion into new markets while balancing business needs with risk considerations.

Formación

• J.D. degree and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of legal experience in law firm or in-house legal department.
• Experience supporting sales, procurement, supply chain, logistics, or commercial operations.
• Background advising businesses in mining, industrial, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors preferred.

Desired Background

• J.D. and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of legal experience gained in a law firm and/or in-house legal department.
• Experience supporting sales, procurement, supply chain, logistics, transportation, or commercial operations.
• Background advising businesses in mining, industrial, manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or related sectors is preferred.
• Ability to communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
• Strong business judgment, relationship-building skills, and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
