Job summary

Fuyao Glass America Inc. is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to support the Chief Legal Officer with legal advice, contract review, investigations, and risk management. The role requires coordinating with outside counsel and supervising internal investigations related to employment and compliance.

The ideal candidate will have a JD from an ABA-accredited school and at least four years of US legal experience, preferably with manufacturing clients. This is an onsite role in Moraine, OH.

Qualifications

• Licensed US attorney with required bar admission.
• Minimum 4 years of legal experience in a corporate setting.
• Experience advising manufacturing clients is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret complex contracts and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct internal investigations and handle investigations of government agencies.
• Prepare and review contracts, policies or memos including NDAs and third-party agreements.
• Advise internal clients on employment, OSHA, compliance and other issues.
• Manage outside counsel as directed by General Counsel.
• Handle investigations of internal complaints such as harassment or discrimination.
• Assist in managing litigation and pre-litigation disputes.
• Other duties assigned by General Counsel.

II. Job Summary: Support the Chief Legal Officer by: (1) providing legal advice; (2) legal representation; (3) overseeing litigation & risk management; (4) contract review; (5) training employees of workplace rules and policies; and (6) conducting internal investigations

III. Job Functions and Duties

NO. Representative Duties

1 Conduct internal investigation and handle investigations of government administrative agencies

2 Prepare and review contracts, policies or memos as directed by General Counsel, including NDAs, joint development agreements and purchase and sales agreements with 3rd parties.

3 Advise on internal clients regarding employment, OSHA related, legal compliance and other issues as directed by General Counsel.

4 Manage outside counsel as may be delegated by General Counsel

5 Manage and/or handle investigations of internal complaints such as harassment, discrimination, and/or retaliation.

6 Assist General Counsel in managing litigation and pre-litigation disputes

7 Other duties as assigned by General Counsel

Job Requirements Language Languages spoken commonly in the workplace are English. - Ability to read, understand and comprehend documents .

Experience At least 4 years of plus of legal experience as a licensed attorney in the US, preferably having experience advising manufacturing clients.

Education JD from an ABA accredited law school

Physical Condition This is an office job requiring sitting for most of the day
Safety requirements for this position are safety glasses, hearing protection and steel-toed work boots on the production floor.

Commercial litigation and trial experience
