Job summary

Leoforce seeks an experienced Corporate Controller in San Antonio to lead our accounting organization, drive the close process, and deliver clear financial visibility to executives and private equity stakeholders.

You will oversee core accounting operations, manage external audits, and collaborate with operations to improve profitability and cash flow while building a high-performing team and scalable processes.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of leadership in accounting/finance.
• Experience in energy or project-driven business.
• WIP accounting and project costing experience.
• Audit readiness and external audits experience.
• Investor reporting in PE-backed environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate accounting operations including general ledger, AP, AR, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Own month-, quarter-, and year-end close with timely, accurate statements.
• Oversee WIP accounting, project costing, revenue recognition, and reconciliations.
• Coordinate external audits and manage auditor relationships.
• Provide financial reporting and analysis to executives and lenders.
• Strengthen internal controls and accounting policies.
• Partner with operations to improve profitability, working capital, and cash flow visibility.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, covenant reporting, and variance analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting systems.
