Job summary

LG Energy Solution Michigan Inc. is seeking a Legal Counsel II based in Troy, MI. The role supports the North America Legal Team by providing strategic legal advice, drafting and reviewing documents, managing disputes, and ensuring compliance across business units.

The ideal candidate will hold a JD, have 3+ years of legal experience (in-house or law firm preferred), and possess strong negotiation and analytical skills to navigate regulatory and corporate matters.

Qualifications

• JD or equivalent law degree required.
• Excellent analytical, communication, research, writing, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to assess risk and prioritize based on risk and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice across a broad range of matters including compliance and corporate matters.
• Review and update policies to ensure regulatory compliance.
