Job summary

Seagate Technology is seeking a Staff Program Manager for Corporate Communications to lead executive communications programs and oversee earned media strategies in the United States. This remote role collaborates across government relations, investor relations, legal/compliance and marketing to align messaging and protect the company brand.

You will manage media relations, support spokespersons, plan media events, monitor coverage, and guide crisis communications.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting executive speaking opportunities and press interviews.
• Proven track record in media relations and securing positive coverage.
• Technology industry experience and/or expertise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills under tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with media professionals.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement media relations strategies to enhance brand and reputation.
• Maintain relationships with tech and business media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
• Oversee creation and distribution of press kits, releases, and media materials.
• Support executive spokespersons with media inquiries and in-market speak opportunities.
• Monitor media coverage and contribute to PR KPI achievement.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.
• Plan and execute media events and press conferences.
• Stay ahead of industry trends to identify positive coverage opportunities.
