Job summary

Seagate Technology is seeking a Staff Program Manager in Corporate Communications to lead executive communications and drive earned media strategies in a fully remote role in the United States. You will align government relations, investor relations, legal/compliance, and marketing to elevate Seagate’s brand visibility.

You will manage media relations, social media strategies, and crisis communication while coordinating with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across channels.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting executive speaking opportunities and press interviews.
• Proven track record of managing media relations and securing positive media coverage.
• Technology industry experience and/or expertise.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement media relations strategies to enhance and protect the company's public image and brand.
• Demonstrate established relationships with tech and business media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
• Oversee the agency in the creation and distribution of brand messaging toolkits, press releases, tailored pitches, media kits, and other communication materials.
• Support executive spokespersons for the company, handling media inquiries, in-market speakerships, social media platforms and media interviews.
• Monitor and deliver media coverage and contribute to achieving PR team goal KPIs.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
• Manage crisis communication and develop strategies to mitigate potential negative publicity.
• Plan and execute media events, press conferences, and other public relations activities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and media landscape to identify opportunities for positive coverage.
