Job summary

TransMarket Group in Chicago, IL, is seeking a Senior Quant Trader with a proven track record in corporate bonds to join our on-site trading desk. You will lead quantitative research, develop models, and drive risk-managed strategies.

You will collaborate with Senior and Junior Traders, manage real-time execution, and mentor colleagues while leveraging our robust capital base and global reach.

Qualifications

• ≥4 years trading Corporate Bonds and related experience.
• Advanced degree in Financial Engineering, Statistics, Math, CS or equivalent.
• Strong counterparty relationships with the street.
• Demonstrated passion for financial markets and trading.
• Attention to detail; under pressure.
• Willingness to do what it takes; strong work ethic.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, collaborative desk.
• Profitable strategy across markets and asset classes; on-site Chicago.

Responsibilities

• Utilize expertise in relative value market fundamentals, quantitative modeling, and risk management in the corporate bond space
• Build and maintain quantitative model tools and analytics
• Manage real-time execution of trading systems
• Collaborate with Senior Traders and Junior Traders to contribute to learnings and strategies
• Mentor Junior Traders and promote their learning on the desk
