Jobot is seeking an experienced Corporate Attorney to join our Wheaton, IL office. You will handle acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity offerings, restructurings, and entity formation, with broad scope and significant client service responsibilities.

The ideal candidate holds a JD, has 5+ years of corporate law experience, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to lead multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• JD required from an accredited law school.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a corporate attorney.
• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on a wide range of corporate issues.
• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts.
• Manage corporate transactions including acquisitions, divestitures, debt and equity offerings, restructurings.
• Assist with entity formation and other corporate matters.
• Provide proactive legal services to ensure compliance and reduce liability.
• Lead teams in business development training and client service initiatives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive client service approach.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis for advisory purposes.
• Prepare and review legal documents to protect the company's rights.
• Interact with clients, develop strategies, prepare reports.
