Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Corporate Associate Attorney in the New England region. The role involves advising on corporate operations, mergers and acquisitions, compliance, and commercial disputes, with ownership of substantive matters and client relationships.

Collaborative work with senior attorneys and business leaders is expected. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of corporate law experience, JD from an accredited school, and an active bar in NH/MA/CT.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar membership in the applicable jurisdiction.
• 5+ years of corporate law, M&A, and related matters.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and risk assessment skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear legal advice on corporate governance and business transactions.
• Manage mergers & acquisitions processes, due diligence, and closings.
• Draft and negotiate contracts, shareholder and operating agreements.
• Advise on compliance obligations and regulatory issues.
• Support commercial litigation matters as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams and outside counsel.
