Job summary

Kingfisher Recruiting represents a premier southeastern law firm seeking a Senior Corporate Associate Attorney to join its Corporate Practice Group in Charlotte or Raleigh. This is a hands-on, high‑level transactional role with substantial client contact and opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

You will work on buy‑side and sell‑side mergers, complex agreements, and due diligence, coordinating with tax, finance, employment, IP, and regulatory teams, while balancing multiple

Qualifications

• JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• Active North Carolina Bar admission in good standing.
• 6+ years of substantive corporate transactional experience.
• Experience advising on mergers and acquisitions and complex deals.
• Familiarity with buy-side and sell-side structures.
• Ability to manage transactions from structuring through closing.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions.
• Structure, negotiate, and document complex corporate transactions.
• Conduct and oversee due diligence.
• Draft and negotiate definitive agreements and closing materials.
• Counsel clients on strategy, risk allocation, and business objectives.
• Manage deal execution from LOI through post-closing.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for outcomes.
• Collaborate with tax, finance, employment, IP and regulatory teams.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
