Job summary

WSFS Bank is seeking a Senior Analyst in Corporate Accounting to join our Finance team in Wilmington/Philadelphia. The role supports period-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis to drive accurate reporting and strong internal controls.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in accounting/finance, 2+ years in accounting, and familiarity with GAAP and SOX. ERP experience (Oracle) and proficiency with Excel/Power BI are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
• CPA certification or MBA is a plus but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of work experience in accounting.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, SOX and reporting requirements.
• Experience with journal entries, account reconciliations and financial statement analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute and support period-end close, including journaling and reconciliations.
• Prepare, record, and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Perform financial analysis of Balance Sheet and Income Statement accounts.
• Identify variances, trends, and provide recommendations to management.
• Support SOX compliance and audit requests; assist in control remediations.
