Job summary

J.Crew Group in New York, NY seeks a Senior Corporate Accountant to own month-end close processes for marketing, gift cards, corporate rent, cash and related accruals. You will maintain fixed assets and gift card books, driving accurate reconciliations.

Collaborate with FP&A on monthly close, planning and forecast cycles, and ensure compliance with internal and external audits. This role offers a path for growth within a dynamic, iconic American fashion company.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related accounting experience.
• Strong MS Office software knowledge (Excel, Word, etc).
• Strong analytic, problem solving and reporting skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communications skills.
• SAP Experience preferred, not required.
• CPA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month end close processes related to marketing, gift cards, corporate rent, cash and various corporate accruals.
• Maintain accounting for Fixed Assets across the company.
• Maintain books and records for gift card holding company including preparing and analyzing gift card reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Financial Planning & Analysis regarding monthly close and planning and forecast cycles.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
• Ad hoc projects and analysis that supports decision making of management.
