Job summary

J.Crew is seeking an accounting professional to own month-end close processes, fixed assets accounting, and gift card reconciliations, partnering with FP&A to support planning cycles.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related accounting experience.
• Strong MS Excel, Word, and other MS Office tools.
• Excellent analytic, problem solving and reporting skills.
• Strong collaboration and communications skills.
• CPA a plus; SAP experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Month end close processes related to marketing, gift cards, corporate rent, cash and corporate accruals.
• Maintain accounting for Fixed Assets across the company.
• Maintain books and records for gift card holding company including reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Financial Planning & Analysis regarding monthly close and planning cycles.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
• Ad hoc projects and analyses to support management decisions.
