Job summary

J.Crew is seeking an accounting professional to own month-end close processes, fixed assets accounting, and gift card reconciliations, partnering with FP&A to support planning cycles.

Candidates should bring strong Excel skills, analytical thinking and collaboration. SAP experience is a plus and CPA is valued. J.Crew offers health benefits, associate discounts, Summer Fridays, community impact programs, and a Winter Break for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related accounting experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for month end close processes related to marketing, gift cards, corporate rent, cash and various corporate accruals.
• Maintain accounting for Fixed Assets across the company.
• Maintain books and records for gift card holding company including preparing and analyzing gift card reconciliations.
• Coordinate with Financial Planning & Analysis regarding monthly close and planning and forecast cycles.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.
• Ad hoc projects and analysis that supports decision making of management.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of related accounting experience.
• Strong MS Office software knowledge (Excel, Word, etc).
• Strong analytic, problem solving and reporting skills.

Salary Range: $86,400.00 - $111,700.00
