Job summary

TalentBridge is partnering with an established organization to hire a Senior Corporate Accountant. This role reports to the corporate accounting team and focuses on general ledger activities, month-end close, and financial reporting.

You will own journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes, ensuring accuracy and GAAP compliance. The ideal candidate has 3–5+ years of corporate accounting experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; solid accounting foundation.
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate setting.
• Strong GAAP knowledge; general ledger and reconciliations experience.
• Ability to explain debits/credits, journal entries and close processes.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.
• Analytical, organized and problem-solving oriented.

Responsibilities

• Perform general ledger activities; post journal entries, accruals and adjustments.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations; resolve discrepancies.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual close processes.
• Analyze account activity; investigate variances and issues.
• Maintain GAAP-compliant financial records and reports.
• Assist with financial statement preparation and schedules.
• Support internal and external audit requests and documentation.
• Identify improvements to accounting processes and controls.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams on accounting questions.
