Job summary

Employee Relations Associates, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its corporate accounting team in Charlotte, NC. The role supports core accounting and close activities while strengthening processes and financial reporting accuracy.

The incumbent will prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and assist with monthly close, ensuring audit-ready documentation and strong internal controls. Public accounting or CPA candidacy is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience supporting internal controls and audit requirements.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
