Job summary

Pregis LLC in Chicago, IL seeks Sr. Accountant – Corporate Accounting to own the Corporate segment balance sheet, intercompany accounting, T&E processes, and oversee the Blackline reconciliation tool, reporting to Senior Manager – Corporate Accounting.

This role also prepares monthly analysis for Corporate Finance to present to the Chief Accounting Officer, supports tax entries, audits, and annual footnotes, and drives process improvements across SAP and related systems.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of public accounting or commensurate industry experience.
• CPA certification is a plus.
• SAP and Blackline experience preferred.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills.
• Experience coordinating with external auditors.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly, quarterly, and year-end close.
• Prepare journal entries for debt, benefits, and accruals.
• Perform intercompany reconciliations.
• Prepare reconciliations and tax provisions.
• Support consolidated US GAAP financial statements and footnotes.
• Lease accounting under ASC842 using CoStar.
• Manage corporate fixed assets.
• Coordinate with external auditors.
