Job summary

Invitation Homes seeks a Sr. Accountant, Corporate Accounting to join our Dallas-based team. You will own general ledger activity for corporate entities and partner across the organization to deliver timely internal reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in accounting, strong U.S. GAAP knowledge, and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance. CPA or CPA candidate is a plus, with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline is required.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, with public accounting experience a plus.
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Record month-end close activities and prepare journal entries.
• Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses.
• Coordinate with HR and other departments for payroll and benefits accounting.
• Lead analyses for income statement accounts and explain variances.
• Support internal/external audits and SOX compliance.
