Invitation Homes in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our Property Accounting team. You will maintain the general ledger, collaborate with HOA, Leasing, Operations, and other business units, and help ensure timely financial reporting for internal stakeholders and shareholders.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of accounting experience, a solid GAAP foundation, strong Excel, and the ability to manage high volumes of data in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience and financial statement prep.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and high accuracy.
• Intermediate Excel skills required.
• Experience handling high data volumes.
• Yardi experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review property accountants' work for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure month-end close deadlines and reconcile balance sheets.
• Collaborate with accounting managers on staffing and cross-training.
• Review Balance Sheet and Income Statement for accuracy.
• Prepare and review recurring and ad hoc financial analyses.
