Description

The Senior Accountant is responsible for various month-end close duties, including account reconciliations, intercompany accounting and assisting with various internal and external financial reporting. This role partners closely with the Corporate Accounting Manager and cross-functional leaders to drive financial integrity, operational efficiency, and informed business decision-making.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
  • Review and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.
  • Responsible for accounting and reconciliation of accruals (benefits, insurance, audit, legal, interest etc.).
  • Prepare the monthly lease entry and provide the trial balance for reconciliation purposes.
  • Prepare the analysis and the coding for the monthly credit card activity.
  • Prepare intercompany billings, allocations and reconciliations.
  • Responsible for bank account reconciliations.
  • Work with team to improve processes and gain efficiencies.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of adjusting entries and accruals.
  • Assist with external audit including preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed.
Job Requirements
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, organization, written and verbal communication.
  • Strong problem-solving skills to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop actionable items.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented.
  • Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field required.
  • CPA or CMA certification preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be eligible to work in the United States without restriction.
