Job summary

Arclin in the North Metro Atlanta area (Alpharetta, GA) is seeking a Senior Accountant to join Corporate Accounting. This hands-on role supports the month-end close, general ledger integrity, and internal/external reporting, with a focus on scalable processes and strong controls.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data, leverage AI and automation where appropriate, and help enhance ERP and reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred.
• 2–5+ years of relevant experience (public accounting and/or industry).
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and US GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems (JDE is a plus) and Blackline.
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, etc.).
• Exposure to AI tools (e.g., Copilot) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries and accruals in line with US GAAP as well as the Company’s internal policies and internal control framework.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and follow up on variances and open items.
• Analyze financial results and dig into variances to understand key drivers.
• Help ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger.
• Assist with internal and external financial reporting.
• Compile and analyze financial data to support decision‑making.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from management.
• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes.
• Leverage AI and process automation to drive efficiency.
• Support system enhancements and integration efforts with new tools and ERPs.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Accounting, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process and general ledger management. This is a hands‑on role focused on ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data.
