Job summary

Arclin, headquartered in Alpharetta, GA, is seeking a Senior Accountant for a hybrid role (minimum 2 days in office) to join the corporate accounting team.

You will manage month-end close, GL, journal entries, and internal/external reporting, leveraging ERP systems and AI tools to improve processes.

The role offers growth in a global manufacturing environment with exposure to US GAAP and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred.
• 2–5+ years of relevant experience (public accounting and/or industry).
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and US GAAP.
• Experience with ERP systems (JDE is a plus) and Blackline.
• Exposure to or interest in AI tools (e.g., Copilot) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries and accruals in line with US GAAP and internal policies.
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Perform account reconciliations and follow up on variances and open items.
• Analyze financial results and dig into variances to understand key drivers.
• Help ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger.
• Assist with internal and external financial reporting.
• Compile and analyze financial data to support decision-making.
• Respond to ad hoc requests from management.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Accounting, the Senior Accountant will play a key role in the month-end close process and general ledger management. This is a hands-on role focused on ensuring the accuracy and reliability of financial data.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Prepare and record journal entries and accruals in line with US GAAP as well as the Company’s internal policies and internal control framework
• Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
• Perform account reconciliations and follow up on variances and open items
• Analyze financial results and dig into variances to understand key drivers
• Help ensure the accuracy and completeness of the general ledger
• Assist with internal and external financial reporting
• Compile and analyze financial data to support decision-making
• Respond to ad hoc requests from management

Process Improvement

• Identify opportunities to streamline and improve accounting processes
• Leverage AI and process automation to drive efficiency
• Support system enhancements and integration efforts with new tools and ERPs

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• CPA or CPA candidate strongly preferred
• 2–5+ years of relevant experience (public accounting and/or industry)
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and US GAAP
• Experience with ERP systems (JDE is a plus) and Blackline
• Exposure to or interest in AI tools (e.g., Copilot) preferred
