Job summary

6 Degrees Group in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant to own day-to-day corporate accounting and ensure timely, GAAP-compliant financial reporting across monthly, quarterly, and annual closes.

You will lead close procedures, review intercompany balances, prepare statements for management and investors, and help build automated controls as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA and Big 4 experience strongly preferred.
• 3–5+ years of relevant accounting experience, including full-cycle close.
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills with excellent analytical and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures, including journal entries, account and bank reconciliations, variance analysis, and corporate consolidation
• Review and reconcile intercompany transactions and balances, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner
• Prepare and analyze GAAP financial statements and ensure accuracy and timeliness of management, investor, and ad-hoc reporting
• Recalculate interest expense on debt, monitor timely payments, and prepare debt compliance reporting

Our client is hiring for a Senior Corporate Accountant in Atlanta, GA. Our client owns, operates, and develops purpose-built single-family rental communities across the Southeast, offering residents the space of homeownership with the flexibility of renting. This role owns day-to-day corporate accounting and ensures accurate, timely financial reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The Senior Corporate Accountant will also help build and automate processes and controls as the company continues to scale. It's a strong fit for a detail-oriented accountant who wants real estate exposure and a direct hand in shaping how the finance function runs.
