Job summary

SPECTRAFORCE seeks a Senior General Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team in Johns Creek, GA. You will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, review general ledger activity, and prepare complex journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

You will lead month-/quarter-/year-end closes, apply US GAAP guidance, assist with external reporting, and support acquisition accounting and M&A integration. Strong Excel and ERP skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP.
• Financial reporting and technical accounting experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
• Analyze general ledger activity and investigate variances.

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency.

Client is seeking a Senior General Accountant to join its Corporate Accounting team in Johns Creek, GA. This position supports the company's continued growth and ongoing acquisition activity while serving as a key contributor to financial reporting, technical accounting, general ledger operations, and process improvement initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can independently manage accounting responsibilities, lead projects with minimal supervision, and mentor junior accounting staff. This position offers strong visibility across the organization while partnering with Accounting leadership, plant operations, regional controllers, and executive management.
