Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Senior CoreOS Engineer for AppleCare Enterprise Services in the Austin area. You will act as the subject matter expert, offering deep technical leadership while guiding documentation, training, and cross‑team initiatives to empower our support teams worldwide.

You will engage directly with customers, drive issue resolution, and shape best practices, standards, and strategic direction across engineering and product teams.

Qualifications

12+ years of experience in a technical engineering or support engineering role.
Experience leading technical escalations for customers and executives.
Expertise in platform stability, app security, platform security, and macOS process management.

Responsibilities

Act as a trusted technical advisor for complex customer challenges and internal initiatives.
Provide technical leadership by shaping best practices, standards, and direction across teams.
Own, review, and evolve technical documentation, training, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Partner with Engineering, Product, Sales, and Support to align on strategy and analyze trends.
Serve as a senior escalation point for Enterprise Customer Support Engineers across regions.
Design, build, and validate complex lab environments to reproduce and resolve issues.
