Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years proven experience developing software in a professional capacity.
• 3+ years proven experience implementing and shipping high-scale, high-performance cloud-based distributed systems, including API implementation (REST, RPC, GraphQL).
• 3+ years proven experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
• 2+ years proven experience with Java, including concurrency, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency in OOP, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, document, improve, and maintain Java backend code.
• Participate in all project phases from planning to design to implementation and future iterations.
• Collaborate with internal/external partners and Apple leadership to deliver high-quality solutions.
