Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a QA engineer to design and maintain comprehensive QA test suites for the Verisk Casualty Catastrophe Model in a cloud-focused environment. You will collaborate closely with product managers, software engineers, and customer success analysts to understand workflows, use cases, and requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM fields (data science, engineering, science, mathematics, finance, economics).
• 5-7 years of related work experience.
• Experience developing or testing cloud-native UI and API products (REST/gRPC), web applications, and cloud-testing environments.
• Strong knowledge of QA methodologies and demonstrated experience building test strategies.

• Participate in cross-functional Agile Scrum teams and use automated testing throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Enhance existing QA best practices.
• Engage stakeholders to clarify requirements, assumptions, and quality expectations.
