Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to create, run, and maintain automated tests for web and mobile applications, including API testing and CI/CD integration.

The role requires hands-on testing across web and mobile platforms, strong scripting skills, and fluent English, with responsibilities spanning test strategy development and defect resolution in close collaboration with engineering and product teams.

Qualifications

• At least three years of professional experience in QA automation.
• Strong coding and scripting skills in at least one modern programming language.
• Experience designing, developing, executing, and maintaining automated test suites.
• Solid functional testing experience, including test case design and execution.
• Hands-on experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Experience with API testing, including validating requests, responses, and integrations.
• Working knowledge of load and performance testing concepts and practices.
• Ability to analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and document defects clearly and precisely.
• Familiarity with version control and CI/CD workflows.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

• Test video calls, including setup, quality, connectivity, and reconnection
• Test phone calls and their integration with real-time communication features
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Create and maintain automated API tests
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot application, test, or environment issues
• Document defects clearly and work with developers through resolution
• Help improve test strategy, coverage, and automation frameworks
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and maintain reliable test runs

• Work directly with the client’s engineering, product, and QA teams
