Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking a Core Java and UI Developer Expert to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Core Java and modern UI technologies.

Role involves building scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices, and creating responsive UIs with React.js/Angular. On-site 3 days/week in Atlanta, NJ, or Dallas, in a hybrid delivery model.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience.
• 6+ years Core Java development (Java 8+ features, collections, concurrency, JVM).
• 4+ years UI/front-end with React.js and/or Angular (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• 4+ years backend with Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices.
• 3+ years integrating frontend with REST APIs and distributed backend services.
• 3+ years SQL and ORM (Hibernate/JPA).
• 3+ years Git-based CI/CD, automated builds, unit testing, and code-quality practices.
• Strong security, production-grade error handling, and performance tuning knowledge.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams; collaboration across architecture, engineering, QA, and product.
• Willingness to work on-site 3 days/week in Atlanta, New Jersey, or Dallas.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices patterns.
• Develop responsive, reusable UI using React.js and Angular (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Integrate UI with backend services and APIs with secure, high-performance data flow.
• Apply OO design, patterns, multithreading, collections, and exception handling in Java solutions.
• Participate in architecture, design reviews, sprint planning, and solution discussions.
• Write clean, maintainable, testable, and secure code with unit/integration/UI tests.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across UI, API, service, and DB layers; drive root-cause analysis.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, and release processes.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and other developers in Agile delivery.
• Work on-site 3 days per week at assigned Atlanta, New Jersey, or Dallas offices.
