Job summary

NTT DATA Services is seeking a Core Java and UI Developer Expert to design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Core Java and modern UI technologies. Build scalable backend services with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices, and develop responsive UI with React.js/Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall software development experience
• 6+ years of hands-on Core Java development with Java 8+ features, collections, concurrency, JVM fundamentals
• 4+ years of hands-on UI/front-end development with React.js and/or Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
• 4+ years of experience developing enterprise backend services with Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices
• 3+ years of experience integrating front-end apps with REST APIs and distributed backends
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases and SQL; ORM such as Hibernate/JPA
• 3+ years of Git-based source control, CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, unit testing, and code-quality practices
• Strong understanding of application security, authentication/authorization, secure coding, production-grade error handling
• Experience with performance optimization, debugging, root-cause analysis, and production support for enterprise apps
• Experience in Agile/Scrum teams and cross-functional collaboration
• On-site 3 days per week in Atlanta, New Jersey, or Dallas (mandatory)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise applications using Core Java and modern UI technologies
• Build scalable backend services and APIs with Java, Spring Boot, RESTful services, and microservices
• Develop responsive, reusable UI with React.js, Angular, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
• Integrate UI components with backend services and APIs with reliable data flow and security
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automated builds, code-quality checks, release processes
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, and other developers in Agile delivery
• Triage and troubleshoot complex issues across UI, API, service, and database layers
• Support production with root-cause analysis and performance tuning
• Participate in architecture, technical design, code reviews, sprint planning, and estimations
• Work on-site 3 days per week to support collaboration and Agile ceremonies
