Job summary

NTT DATA North America is seeking a Core Java & UI Developer Expert to join our Atlanta-based team in a hybrid onsite role. The position emphasizes strong Core Java development, Spring Boot microservices, REST APIs, and modern UI with React/Angular.

The candidate will design, develop, test, and deploy enterprise applications, collaborate with architects and product teams, and participate in Agile ceremonies. 3 days on-site per week in Atlanta or other US offices may apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of software development experience.
• Minimum 6+ years hands-on Core Java with Java 8+ features.
• Minimum 4+ years UI/frontend with React.js and/or Angular (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3).
• Minimum 4+ years backend with Spring, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices.
• Minimum 3+ years integrating front-end with REST APIs and distributed services.
• Minimum 3+ years SQL and ORM (Hibernate/JPA).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, automated builds, unit testing, and code-quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise apps using Core Java and modern UI tech.
• Build scalable backend services and APIs with Java, Spring Boot, REST, microservices.
• Develop responsive UI with React.js/Angular, JS/TS, HTML5, CSS3.
• Integrate UI with backend services, ensure secure data flow and performance.
• Contribute to architecture, design, code reviews, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
• Write clean, maintainable code with unit and UI automation coverage.
• Troubleshoot complex issues across UI, API, service, and DB layers.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment readiness.
