Job summary

Synechron in Charlotte, NC seeks a Core Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. You will implement high performance Java solutions using Java 8, 11, and 17 or later, apply object oriented design principles, optimize multithreading and data access, and collaborate with product, QA, and operations teams to deliver reliable software across platforms.

The role requires strong knowledge of collections, generics, JVM internals, serialization, and modern APIs

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java 8/11/17+ and OOP concepts.
• Proficient in multithreading, collections, generics, and JVM internals.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, SQL, and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and support Java-based applications and services.
• Develop robust, scalable solutions using Core Java and OOP principles.
• Write clean, maintainable code; analyze requirements and translate to technical solutions.
• Develop and optimize RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with QA, participate in code reviews, and support releases.
• Prepare technical documentation and knowledge transfer materials.
