Job summary

Synechron is seeking a detail-oriented Java Software Engineer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software applications. You will design APIs using core Java, Spring, and microservices, while focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability across financial service platforms.

The role emphasizes code quality, architecture, and collaboration with multiple teams to optimize systems and deliver robust solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficient in multi-threading, concurrent data structures, shared memory, asynchronization, JNI, NIO, Hashmap.
Experience with networking protocols (UDP, TCP).
Understanding queue theory and designs to enhance system performance.
Familiar with JVM internals and garbage collection tuning.
Linux kernel/OS internals knowledge.

Responsibilities

Design and develop APIs using Java/Spring/Microservices Design Pattern and advanced technologies.
Implement OOPS concepts in development phase of application development.
Good experience in datastructures, multithreading, collections, hashmap.
Focuses on Architecture and Solution efficiencies. Balances performance, capacity and reliability with core system functionality.
Identifies potential opportunities for code optimization.
Reviews code to proactively identify and mitigate potential issues and defects.
