Job summary

MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC in Columbus, OH seeks an experienced Core Java Developer for an onsite, 12-month engagement. You will build and maintain high-performance backend services using Core Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs for enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate excels in multithreading, concurrency, and JVM tuning, with strong SQL skills and experience in Agile teams. JPMorgan Chase (JPMC) exposure is preferred or required by client guidelines.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Core Java experience, preferably Java 8+.
• Deep OOP, collections, exceptions, generics, and concurrency.
• Experience with multithreading, synchronization, and JVM tuning.
• Strong data structures, algorithms, and design patterns knowledge.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and REST APIs.
• SQL and relational database experience.
• Familiar with Git, Maven/Gradle, and unit testing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-performance backend applications using Core Java.
• Apply OOP, collections, multithreading, concurrency, and design patterns.
• Build REST APIs and microservices with Spring Boot.
• Optimize performance, troubleshoot issues, and support production systems.
• Work with relational databases and write efficient SQL.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and Agile practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable enterprise apps.
