New Engen, a digital marketing agency, is seeking a performance‑driven Copywriter for Donut Studios in New York. You will craft direct‑response copy across paid social, landing pages, email, and video scripts, ensuring messaging is platform‑native and brand appropriate.

Collaborate with designers, editors, strategists, and production teams to develop hooks, CTAs, and concepts that engage audiences on TikTok, Instagram, and beyond.

Qualifications

• 3-6 years of experience in copywriting, content marketing, or a related creative field.
• Strong digital portfolio showcasing direct response copywriting across channels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Communications, English, or related field preferred.
• Experience writing across multiple brands and adapting to different brand voices.
• Deep familiarity with TikTok, social media trends, and internet culture.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Self-starter mindset with curiosity and initiative.

Responsibilities

• Write Performance-Driven Copy Across Channels Create compelling, conversion-focused copy across paid social, landing pages, email, video scripts, and other digital marketing channels.
• Develop messaging that captures attention quickly, keeps audiences engaged, and drives action without feeling overly promotional.
• Concept High-Performing Social CreativeWrite platform-native short-form content for TikTok/Instagram; develop hooks and scripts.
• Adapt Seamlessly Across Brand Voices Translate ideas across brands into clear copy, maintaining authenticity and tone.
• Craft Hooks, Messaging, and Calls-to-Action Develop scroll-stopping hooks, memorable one-liners, and persuasive CTAs.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally Work with designers, editors, strategists, and production teams.
• Stay Ahead of Trends Monitor trends and emerging formats to keep creative fresh.
• Optimize and Iterate Based on Performance Data Refine messaging based on performance insights.
