Job summary

Healing Strides Counseling seeks a Senior Copywriter to develop compelling campaign concepts and clear, persuasive messaging across emails, campaigns, and thought leadership. You will bring brand voices to life through emails, marketing campaigns, and thought leadership while collaborating with creative partners, presenting work to clients, and guiding other copywriters.

You will lead copy efforts, balance client feedback with strategy, verify details, and own projects from kickoff to handoff.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of writing experience in advertising or a related field, including graduate advertising or portfolio school experience.
• A bachelor’s degree or combination of education and professional experience.
• Experience developing copy for a variety of media and audiences, from concise emails to strategic thought leadership.
• People management experience and ability to guide other copywriters.
• Strong written, verbal, and client presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze information and translate it into clear, persuasive messaging.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
• Collaborative, solution-oriented approach with tact, diplomacy, and openness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Develop original campaign concepts and copy that capture attention and motivate action.
• Write clear, engaging messaging across media, adapting brand voice for different audiences and needs.
• Use briefs, research, and client services understanding to shape concepts and messaging strategy.
• Present creative strategy and campaigns to clients, providing senior leadership when needed.
• Partner with art directors to align copy and visuals.
• Guide and support other copywriters, improving their work quality.
• Balance client feedback with strategy to deliver effective solutions.
• Verify details and apply copy requirements including trademark language.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines from kickoff through handoff.
• Stay current on marketing trends and contribute to additional projects.
