Qualifications

• 3+ years proofreading, copy editing, or editorial experience.
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing or related field.
• Experience in healthcare, life sciences or biopharmaceutical industries required.
• Portfolio of work demonstrating editing proficiency required.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong English grammar.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe Workfront and Acrobat.
• Familiar with AP and AMA style.

Responsibilities

• Provide final quality check for all written content and creative assets.
• Correct spelling, grammar, punctuation and syntax.
• Enforce internal style guides and brand voice; follow external guides as needed.
• Ensure consistency of dates, names, terminology, and formatting.
• Review layouts and typography with designers for proper alignment.
• Give clear, constructive feedback to team members throughout production.
• Prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, project managers, and digital marketing to deliver integrated solutions.
• Respond to messages in Workfront, Teams, and Outlook and participate in meetings.
